The toughest lane matchups for Ashe on the Wild Rift China server, with why each is hard and exactly how to play it.
Why Draven counters Ashe: Zero mobility against the strongest early-game ADC: his axes hit far harder than your shots and your slow is not enough to keep him away.
How to play Ashe into Draven: Volley from max range and farm defensively. Force him to move: every axe he fails to catch is a trade you won. Keep your R as a defensive answer to his engages.
→ DravenWhy Zeri counters Ashe: In the late game she is too fast for your slows: she kites better than you at the exact game you want to play.
How to play Ashe into Zeri: Win the lane phase, where she is weak: constant Volley poke and R engages. Try to close before she completes 3 items.
→ ZeriWhy Tristana counters Ashe: Her jump cancels your slow and the bomb explodes anyway: in short trades she always wins.
How to play Ashe into Tristana: Use your R on her landing: the jump has a long early cooldown. Poke only: never fight inside her jump range.
→ TristanaWhy Samira counters Ashe: Her W destroys your projectiles, R included, and her melee all-in punishes your total lack of escapes.
How to play Ashe into Samira: Fire your R AFTER her W, never during it. Keep her at distance: without a CC'd target she cannot dash onto you.
→ SamiraWhy Ezreal counters Ashe: A skill matchup: his blink (E) dodges your R, but your constant slow wins the long trades.
How to play Ashe into Ezreal: Use R right after he has spent his E, and count its cooldown. Attack and slow relentlessly: he must never walk up to farm for free.
→ EzrealThe champions Ashe works best alongside on the Wild Rift China server, lane by lane, with the reason each pairing works.
Your crits feed Frost Shot (P)'s slow instead of your damage, so you kill with time, not with a burst window. Unstoppable Force (R) knocks up a whole group from outside engage range and Ground Slam (E) cuts the attack speed of whoever gets back up.
Frost Shot (P) slows whoever chases you, not whoever already reached you: Shadow Dash (E) taunts the assassin from half a screen away and Stand United (R) shields you and teleports Shen in from anywhere on the map, even as you're already dying.
Your whole kit is crowd control, and Brittle from Bellows Breath (W) adds 30% to every effect, including the 3.5 seconds of Enchanted Crystal Arrow (R). From level 7 Living Forge (P) also hands you shopping from range, so you never lose a wave to recall.
Against someone who actually reaches you, you have nothing: All Out (R) grabs the diver and hurls him out of the fight, rooted and away from his team. And Footwork (E) can dash to you and leave you the same shield, without you moving a step.
Worth it against dash-based comps: Steadfast Presence (W) roots the diver the instant he commits, which Frost Shot (P) alone cannot do. Against a team that simply walks at you, though, your slow was already enough.
Warwick has no dash: on a target permanently slowed by Frost Shot (P) he never misses. Volley (W) chips the lane under 50% health, the threshold where Blood Hunt (W) turns on his speed, and Infinite Duress (R) suppresses for a full second.
Your crits give you no burst, so you need them held still for a while: Curse of the Sad Mummy (R) is a 1.5-second area stun on the whole group, and Bandage Toss (Q) opens the fight from range on an already-slowed target.
Powerball (Q) rolls in a straight line: against a target pinned by Frost Shot (P) there is no sidestepping it, and his bot ganks become close to automatic. Frenzying Taunt (E) is then the peel you lack against whoever is already on you.
Javelin Toss (Q) hurts more the farther it flies, up to 225 magic damage: on a target pinned by Frost Shot (P) the full-distance spear lands almost every time, and after Enchanted Crystal Arrow (R) she has all the time she needs to throw it and close with Aspect Of The Cougar (R).
A pick synergy, not a teamfight one: Paranoia (R) blacks out their team's vision and delivers him onto the target you just locked down from across the map. He gives you no peel at all, so he only pays off if the game is decided by picks.
Enchanted Crystal Arrow (R) is global but you can't follow it: Destiny (R) reveals every enemy on the map so you know where to aim, and its teleport drops Twisted Fate on the stunned target to finish with the Gold Card from Pick a Card (W).
There is no dash and no blink anywhere in your kit: Hero's Entrance (R) shields you from across the map and lands a knock-up on everyone who was on top of you, and Justice Punch (E) knocks off the diver that Frost Shot (P) can only slow.
Command: Protect (E) gives you a shield plus armour and magic resist and moves the ball to where you stand, so her damage zone defends your position. Command: Shockwave (R) pulls them into one spot: still and clumped is where Volley (W) pays off most.
Ring of Frost (W) roots and Frozen Tomb (R) stuns on top of the root: nearly three seconds where the target cannot move, which is exactly what you need given your crits pay out in slow rather than in damage.
Sleepy Trouble Bubble (E) is slow enough to dodge blindfolded, but not for someone pinned by Frost Shot (P) or already frozen under Enchanted Crystal Arrow (R). Zoe protects you in no way at all, though: take her for picks, not if you get dived.
Concussive Blows (P) only reaches four marks if the target cannot leave, and that is exactly what Frost Shot (P) prevents: the stun lands almost every time. Unbreakable (E) intercepts projectiles aimed at you and cuts incoming damage by 35%.
Death Sentence (Q) is a slow hook that good players sidestep, but not on a target already slowed by Frost Shot (P). And Dark Passage (W) is literally the dash you don't have: the lantern shields you and pulls you out of a dive.
Focused Resolve (W) is not guaranteed crowd control: it only roots if the chain isn't broken, and with Frost Shot (P) on them the target hasn't got the speed to break it. Empowered Inspire (E) gives you a shield and a burst of speed, the mobility you lack.
Tidecaller's Blessing (E) adds damage and a slow to your next attacks, stacking on top of Frost Shot (P) to pin the target where it stands. Aqua Prison (Q) is hard to miss on an already-slowed enemy, and Tidal Wave (R) knocks up whoever is walking at you.
Song of Celerity (E) is the movement speed that stands in for the dash you don't have, Hymn of Valor (Q) feeds you bonus attack damage on every cast, and Crescendo (R) stuns the first target and slows the rest: exactly when Ranger's Focus (Q) pays off.
Rocket Grab (Q) is his entire kit and it can be dodged: behind Frost Shot (P), or onto someone you just locked down with Enchanted Crystal Arrow (R), it becomes close to automatic. Miss the hook, though, and he's a slow tank who protects you from nothing.

Ashe, the Frost Archer, is one of the most approachable marksmen in Wild Rift - a ranged AD carry built around constant slows and long-range utility rather than raw burst. Every basic attack chips away at her target's movement speed, and her ultimate can stun an enemy from clear across the map, so she wins fights through control and positioning as much as through damage. She's an easy pickup for anyone learning the marksman role, yet her slow-and-poke playstyle still scales into a genuine late-game threat.
Skill order: W > Q > E (level R whenever it's available)
Play a patient poke-and-farm lane: use Volley to chip health and clear waves from range, and only step in to autoattack when it's safe, since every hit builds Ranger's Focus and applies your passive slow. Because you have no escape tool, treat Hawkshot as a proactive scouting habit rather than a reaction - send it down the river or into common gank spots before you extend, not after you're already being dove. Your first real power spike lands once you can reliably chain Ranger's Focus alongside your first attack-speed item, so avoid forcing early all-ins and instead out-farm and out-range your lane opponent.
From the mid game onward, Ashe fights from maximum range, letting the constant slow from Frost Shot keep divers at arm's length instead of relying on any mobility of her own. Enchanted Crystal Arrow is her biggest teamfight swing - fire it just before the fight fully commits to stun an overextended carry or the enemy's main engage threat, since a long-range hit can lock a target down for up to 3.5 seconds and single-handedly decide the outcome. Stay tucked behind your frontline, autoattack whichever priority target you can safely reach and slow, and keep in mind that whiffing R leaves you contributing little more than chip damage for the rest of the fight.
