The toughest lane matchups for Fiddlesticks on the Wild Rift China server, with why each is hard and exactly how to play it.
Why Lee Sin counters Fiddlesticks: He invades your first camp, when you are the most fragile champion in the game, and the first minutes become pure survival.
How to play Fiddlesticks into Lee Sin: Set effigies on his jungle entrances and start on the opposite side. After 5 the fear changes owners: R from fog of war onto his ganks.
→ Lee SinWhy Kindred counters Fiddlesticks: Her R is the perfect answer to your storm: four seconds of immortality that cancel your horror-movie entrance.
How to play Fiddlesticks into Kindred: Cast R AFTER her zone ends, or on a fight away from hers. Effigies deny her vision for marks: slow her scaling that way.
→ KindredWhy Rammus counters Fiddlesticks: Your drain is magic damage and he holds it, but the real problem is the taunt: it pins you outside your own terror.
How to play Fiddlesticks into Rammus: Fear HIM before he rolls at you: if it starts first, your CC wins. Cast R from fog beyond his line: he cannot taunt what he cannot see.
→ RammusWhy Nunu & Willump counters Fiddlesticks: He contests your objectives with Consume and the snowball interrupts your R channel the moment it starts.
How to play Fiddlesticks into Nunu & Willump: Cast R BEFORE the snowball launches: learn to hear it. On objectives play drain tank: in the Smite war, your sustain lasts longer.
→ Nunu & WillumpWhy Warwick counters Fiddlesticks: His nose finds you behind the effigies and his fear answers yours: the duel of the two terrors.
How to play Fiddlesticks into Warwick: Fear BEFORE his leap: yours is AoE and wins the simultaneous exchange. Never duel without W ready: the drain is your health bar.
→ WarwickThe champions Fiddlesticks works best alongside on the Wild Rift China server, lane by lane, with the reason each pairing works.
The crows burn for five seconds but the Fear sends everyone running: Unstoppable Force (R) puts them back in one motionless pile inside Crowstorm (R), and his page says he kills nobody without someone converting the engage.
A taunt walks an enemy toward Shen, which is the opposite direction from fleeing: Shadow Dash (E) drags back into the crows whoever your Fear sent running. And Stand United (R) shields the frailest champion on the roster from across the map.
Bellows Breath (W) stretches every following piece of crowd control by 30%, so your Fear and the Reap (E) silence both last longer, and the Call of the Forge God (R) recast knocks the group straight back into Crowstorm (R).
Cyclone (R) has to be cast from inside the pile and knocks up everyone around him: it is the follow-up that keeps enemies airborne inside the crows instead of letting them run, and its damage scales off max health like Terrify (Q).
He has to reach the fight in Mega form, but if you land Crowstorm (R) at a chokepoint the wall is already there: GNAR! (R) slams the group into it and stuns them, and stunned enemies eat all five seconds of crows.
Hero's Entrance (R) telegraphs its landing zone for 2.5 seconds and enemies simply walk out; your channel takes 1.5 and ends in the same spot. You arrive together: they get knocked up inside the crows, you get the shield your kit lacks.
The Fear scatters enemies out of the crows: Command: Shockwave (R) picks all of them back up and drops them in one point, inside Crowstorm (R). And Command: Protect (E) parked on you shields you the instant you land in five people.
Destiny (R) reveals the entire enemy team, so you pick the exact second to start the channel instead of guessing, which for an ambush champion is everything. The Gold Card from Pick a Card (W) then stuns whoever is walking out of the crows.
Ring of Frost (W) roots everyone around her and Frozen Tomb (R) stuns on top of it: two lockdowns in a row cancel the flee your Fear causes and keep the group inside Crowstorm (R) for all five seconds.
Singularity (E) drags grouped enemies together, which is exactly the clump Crowstorm (R) needs to be worth casting. He roams a lot with Astral Flight (W), though, so the pairing mostly pays off around objectives.
Enchanted Crystal Arrow (R) travels from across the map and stuns: you start the 1.5-second channel while the arrow is still flying, and the crows land on a target who cannot move. Frost Shot (P) slows whoever tries to leave.
Deadly Flourish (W) roots anyone an ally has just damaged, and the crows damage everything they touch: every enemy inside Crowstorm (R) is rootable, and he pins down exactly the ones your Fear is carrying away.
Chain of Corruption (R) roots the first target and spreads to whoever stands next to them: against a group the crows have just hit it becomes a collective lockdown, and nobody leaves Crowstorm (R) before the last tick.
Her feathers have to be on the ground already: Bladecaller (E) roots for 1.25 seconds anyone carrying three of them, so it only works if she was already fighting there. When it does, it pins the runners back into the crows.
Your page says any hard crowd control during the 1.5-second channel hands your ultimate to the enemy: Black Shield (E) is the one button in the game that blocks it outright. Soul Shackles (R) then stuns the group the crows are already burning.
Crescendo (R) stuns the first target it touches and slows everyone caught inside: it re-pins the enemies your Fear just scattered, exactly while the crows are still ticking. And her auras heal the frailest jungler on the server.
The Box (R) seals the exits: anyone trying to leave the crows breaks a wall and eats a 99% slow. And the Dark Passage (W) lantern is the escape your page says you do not have, once Crowstorm (R) has dropped you into five people.
Magnet Storm (R) yanks enemies toward her and puts the group back together: it is the precise answer to the Fear that scatters them out of your crows. Ferromancy: Crash Down (W) knocks them up on the way in, and you recast Terrify (Q).
Rampant Growth (R) on you the instant you land: bonus health for the frailest champion on the roster, plus a knock-up that pins everyone around you back inside the crows. Whimsy (W) polymorphs whoever turns onto you. Still a sub-49% support.
Worth it only if the team actually plays ambushes with you: Curse of the Black Mist (E) camouflages every ally, so they reach the fight as unseen as you do and the enemy sees none of the five coming.

Fiddlesticks, the Ancient Fear, is a burst Mage played almost exclusively in the jungle in Wild Rift, and his entire kit is built around not being seen. Stand still or step out of vision and he goes camouflaged, so a single Terrify (Q) or a landed Crowstorm (R) can delete a squishy target for a huge chunk of their health. He deals pure magic damage, brings almost no mobility or peel for himself, and lives or dies by how well the ambush is timed.
Skill order: Q > E > W (always take R at 5/9/13) — max Terrify first for the burst that defines his ambushes, Reap second for the silence and slow in skirmishes, Bountiful Harvest last.
Before level 5 Fiddlesticks has no ultimate and almost no safety net, so the priority is clearing efficiently with Bountiful Harvest's sustain and avoiding any camp-versus-camp fight against fast invaders like Lee Sin. Use the 2-second stationary camouflage to check bushes and river before committing to a path, and only gank once a lane ally brings their own hard engage to back up Reap's silence. The moment Crowstorm unlocks at 5, look for the first chance to catch an overextended laner completely unaware — that first successful ultimate usually swings the whole early game.
From the mid-game on, Fiddlesticks wins fights before they start: hover just outside enemy vision and wait for the enemy team to group or overextend before channeling Crowstorm onto their squishiest cluster. Anything that interrupts the 1.5-second channel — a stun, a knockup, or something like Nunu's Snowball — wastes the entire engage, so patience and positioning matter more than reaction speed. Once the crows land, the camouflage passive Fears everyone hit, so following up immediately with Terrify amplifies the damage by 200% on whoever needs to die first, then Reap silences whoever's caught in the center and slows the rest. Every takedown also releases the scarecrow passive, a short homing explosion that Fears the next target it reaches, so a won skirmish can roll straight into the next one instead of resetting.
